Hey everyone, its been a while since I did my last journal. I want to announce that even though I have not yet gotten my degree, I am starting to work on my anime project, Familiars! Familiars is an anime series I have been working so hard to make into a reality for the pass oh what? 2, 3 years now? Familiars is an anime that will center around magic, sorcery, wizards and dragons! This was inspired by animes such as RWBY and Fairy Tail, which Familiars is heavily influenced by. 
The story revolves around a young woman named Tiamat and her white dragon foster father, Bla’rgmnog The White

Another anime project I just decently started to develop is a little series I call Godslayer. Its an anime that is set in a post Apocalyptic earth after giant monsters called Gods, who came from shooting stars, have wrecked havoc and nearly wiped out humanity. To combat the Gods, humanity has now started to capture Gods, "Tame" them, and use these Gods to fight back and reclaim their world. The story centers around a "Meister" named Daigo Klaus and a new species of Jaeger class God who looks like a cross between a wolf, dragon, and a dinosaur,  simply known as The Jaeger.
This one is basically an homage to my love of Giant monster movies like Godzilla, Gamera, and Ultraman. As well my love of Super Sentai, Gundam, Mazinger, Getter Robo, and Attack On Titan. And is suppose to hearken back to those movies where you have monster of the day, ridiculous stories and monster designs, and other cheesy things.  

    I am sure people know this by now but the anime community has been dealt with a HUGE crushing blow this passed weekend,     Monty Oum, maker of viral video hits like Haloid and that awesome Final Fantasy/Dead Or Alive crossover game, Dead Fantasy,     and the man behind the simply brilliant series, RWBY, has passed away. I have never personally met Mr. Oum in person but I     am on the verge of tears because of how his work and generosity has affected me (I know that sounds borderline rabid insane     fan boy). I am taking a class in animation and trying to make my own anime series called Familiars, a brain child of mine I have     been typing down for literally the passed 2-3 years. How is this in anyway relent to Monty? Monty's anime, RWBY, inspired me     to make my own. I wanted to make an anime series like him, started from bare sticks and ground and one day, make a series     that everyone can enjoy. 

    Once I get my degree in animation and if my series got off the ground, I wanted to one day meet him at a con and just shake his hand and thank him for giving me that spark of creativity to make my own series, sadly this dream will never happen because of his passing. My heart fully goes out to his friends, family, and to all of Rooster Teeth for loosing such a brilliant man...
